Wow... A rare find. Pat is an honest, caring and experienced professional who genuinely cares for his customers' safety and well being. We have found our exclusive mechanic, and can count on a job well done and a wallet that's not robbed!

The job done on the car was as predicted and was well explained. There was room for improvement in the area of keeping the customer informed. Once it was established that there were no unforeseen difficulties I think it would have been helpful to have received a message that car should be ready in, say, the 3:00 to 3:30 range. That would have enabled me to plan the afternoon more sensibly. A complete review, and by inference a complete recommendation, will not be possible until I have had further dealings with the garage.

I had been told by many shops that I needed new struts on my car. After being quoted an offensive amount of money by a dealership, I called local shops and Pat's gave a fair quote and were incredibly informative on the phone. I couldn't be happier with the experience I had at this garage. Augie was so helpful and explained what was required in this repair, and how confident he was in the parts they were using. Glad I researched and ended up at Pat's Garage, and will be using only their services for my car in the future.

I wouldn't go to anyone else. I'd drive from Pacifica to the industrial part of San Francisco just to have Pat's Garage service my car and afterward get my SMOG certification with full confidence. They haven't failed me yet.

The service was great - my car was done on time, and I felt like I was well informed about what was necessary to repair and why. Also great advice on how quickly repairs need to be made (fortunately for my wallet, things could wait a bit). I didn't feel talked down to, as a woman, or taken advantage of - as I have at other mechanics.

Bringing my car to this garage was a great experience. I called around a lot trying to find a place with experience working on hybrid AC systems and these were the only folks who seemed to know what they were doing. They're also super friendly and fair. They are that rare breed of auto shop that has your best interest in mind.
