This shop was recommended by a co-worker as friendly, knowledgeable with Asian cars, and trustworthy folks. They lived up to the description. My battery died just before taking the car to the shop and they warned me I might need a new battery. After a good charge they notified me it was in excelled condition. I really appreciate the honesty! I will definitely be returning for a tune up and my 100,000 mile service!

Service is always excellent and I know my dollars are coming back to me in the form of piece of mind in mechanics I can trust. If you ever decide to accept payment in the form of coffee, you know where to find me.

Owner Pat and office manager Augie are friendly and full of practical information. I feel that I deal with professional, knowledgeable, and honest people every time I step in the door. Pat's Garage is an entirely different type of garage/car maintenance experience that I have never had before.

It just seemed like they were real straight forward, honest and helpful. I will be doing all of my future work there. On a side note, it was a real cool waiting room as well, a lot of good art and SF history. It's really the place if you have a Honda or Toyota.

I have been taking my car ('02 Honda Civic) here for years. After trial and error with other garages in the City I finally found Pat's, hooray. They are always prompt with responses, good at handling question from someone who know very little about cars and fair and detailed in their pricing. They make good recommendations and never push to add services that are not necessary. They even tell you when it is okay to hold off on doing things to maximize what you have put into the car and help your pocket book. Friendly faces, knowledgeable staff and honest service make Pat's Garage a winner in my book!
