I went to the Honda dealer in San Francisco and was given a list of 4 items that needed to be fixed with a total quote of over $2,000. One of which was the brakes, and when I told them I didn't want to perform the service, they cautioned me that my brakes "could drop out" if it wasn't replaced and that it should be addressed immediately. At Pat's garage, they reviewed the quote provided by the dealer, advised that my brakes were NOT in any way a danger, and completed all of the necessary work -- only ONE of the items from the original quote -- for about 1/4 the dealer quoted price. Very honest, fair, and transparent. Will happily bring my car back to them anytime.

Today, I called and spoke with Robert about an issue with my car. The suggestion he made was the one that was best for me. Although I have not (yet) personally gone to Action Auto Care, I highly recommend them based on this experience.

Extremely responsive and accommodating. I dropped my car off in the morning and I had a diagnosis that afternoon. In this particular context, they needed to allow the car to sit for several hours in order to recreate the problem and they discussed this plan with me when I dropped off the car. They called me within the designated time window with several alternatives. Because we are a one car family, I asked to pick up my car that afternoon and return the following day for the repair. They were more than willing to meet my schedule and had the repair complete ahead of schedule. Great service and communication throughout.
