I couldn't be happier, except if my car didn't break down in the first place. Clutch cable broke in SF and I had heard great things about Pat's. They were closing around the time the tow truck could get me there, but either they stayed late or hung out just for me. Either way - everyone was very nice, gave me accurate info about when I could expect the repair to be done, given that it was around the July 4th holiday, and I was on my merry. They found another problem while working on the clutch - my radiator had a leak. This was actually *good* news as I knew something was wrong somewhere in the cooling system b/c my car was overheating every now and then when I forgot to top off the coolant. I had it in the shop about a year and a half prior at my regular mechanic and they thought it might be a hose, which were replaced. The prices were very fair and I felt very confident about the work. No one likes shelling out for car repairs but, when you do, it's great to be able to do it without remorse and knowing that you're in the hands of professionals.
