I wouldn't go to anyone else. I'd drive from Pacifica to the industrial part of San Francisco just to have Pat's Garage service my car and afterward get my SMOG certification with full confidence. They haven't failed me yet.

The service was great - my car was done on time, and I felt like I was well informed about what was necessary to repair and why. Also great advice on how quickly repairs need to be made (fortunately for my wallet, things could wait a bit). I didn't feel talked down to, as a woman, or taken advantage of - as I have at other mechanics.

Bringing my car to this garage was a great experience. I called around a lot trying to find a place with experience working on hybrid AC systems and these were the only folks who seemed to know what they were doing. They're also super friendly and fair. They are that rare breed of auto shop that has your best interest in mind.

Just what I hoped. Made an appointment online on the weekend. It was confirmed early the next business a.m. Dropped my car off. Augie did a quick road test and validated my assessment (with disclaimers of course). I left, he called with plan. By 3 it was done. I feel secure.

It took a few days to get the parts and to complete the repair ... Pat kept me updated during the process. I have nothing but great things say about my experience. Pat's garage is always professional and thorough in all aspects of their service delivery. They are also very helpful as far as researching dealership re-calls and policies that might save the customers some bucks.I heard a weird noise in the back of my car. They spend the day trying to figure out what was going on and test drove it several times. They didn't find anything and the problem mysteriously disappeared. Even better, they didn't charge me for their efforts.I think Pat's garage demonstrates a real concern for customer safety and they don't take any short cuts when safety is an issue.I love this place and I love the culture of Pat's - kind of retro - kind of alternative but always top notch!

Everyone was very helpful and kind. Especially Pat. He made sure to come and talk to me himself and was very cheerful to work with which was refreshing. He did exactly what I needed him too and quickly which was great: I recommend this place to everyone!
